Lewiston gubernatorial candidates driving histories are not so clean as expected
LEWISTON - Gubernatorial candidates driving records search showed that not all of the ballot candidates running for a governor in the town of Maine state are law abiding citizens. Some of them have some massive driving motor vehicle violations in their past history. Maine Secretary of State Matt Dunlap after reviewing the records said that Kevin Scott of Andover has been convicted of no more no less 35 motor vehicle violations and had his driving privilege suspended on 21 occasions. During a TV debate five of the candidates were asked what car they drive. Elizabeth Mitchell stated she drives a Toyota Prius. Which, as records at the Maine Departments of Motor Vehicles show, is registered in her husband's name. In her and her husband's name are also registered two more cars, which are a black 2003 Volkswagen Beetle and 2006 Cadillac Escalade. Shawn Moody said he drives a pickup truck, and Eliot Cutler said he drives a Ford. As the Maine D.M.V. records show all of the 5 asked candidates and their family members own at least 2-3 cars registered.

The Truth About Tiger Woods Car Accident
This is to do with the minor accident that took place after Thanksgiving. It is alleged that after coming to know about the affairs of Tiger Woods, his wife Elin got furious and there followed a row between them. Tiger Woods got nervous by the quarrel and wanted to start his car, but very soon the car just crashed, causing Tiger Wood a minor injury. Elin then wanted to accompany him to the hospital, but was forbidden to do that by the paramedics from the ambulance that arrived to the scene, because they got suspicious Tiger Woods' injury was sign of a domestic violence that might have taken place.

Car Accident Statistics
Wisconsin Medical Journal: Risk of fatal alcohol-related car accidents are greater in rural areas
(October 8, 2009) - Several recent studies have shown that some of the nation's highest rates of alcohol consumption and binge drinking are found in Wisconsin. According to a new study published in the Wisconsin Medical Journal (Vol. 108, No. 7), Wisconsin residents - especially those in rural areas - are also at higher risk of being involved in a car crash that is due to alcohol. A researcher at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health compared statistics about motor vehicle accident (MVA) fatalities that were related to alcohol and those in which alcohol was not a factor. In the process, he also analyzed county-by-county MVA trends and the relationship between alcohol-related MVAs and the number of liquor licenses per capita. The study's author found that rates of both types of MVAs - those associated with alcohol and those that were not - were significantly higher in rural counties than in urban ones. Rural counties had nearly 4.5 times more liquor licenses per capita than urban counties, suggesting that though there are fewer people on the roads in rural areas, there are more places to get a drink.
